First, I want to thank the wonderful Leola Tillman, VP of the Tampa Bay DSWA chapter, successful GNLD distributor and regular reader and contributor on MLMBlackwoman and our social community, I Love MLMBLackwoman.com. Leola shared an excellent blog post on our social community site called, "Why Blacks may miss the Wellness Revolution and the Network Marketing explosion". The article was written by Three Diamond Director and GNLD Wellness Center Founder, Dr. Shirley Bradley-Carmack....and it is POWERFUL!!
Because of my efforts and determination to share the facts and benefits of building a network marketing business with more women of color, I found this article to be absolutely invaluable. Whether you are a women of color wanting to share your business opportunity with more black women OR you are a Caucasian sister wanting to create a more multicultural organization...this article is a MUST read. Dr. Carmack spells out the probable cultural reasons for the "mental" misconceptions about our industry amongst many African Americans. Having a better understanding of the cultural history behind the kinds of professional and education choices black people have made over the years, will help you better understand them while you are in the recruiting process. Here's an excerpt from her article, you can click on the link below to read it in its entirety right now on I Love MLMBlackwoman.com, under blog posts. Enjoy! British
