I love to hear the stories of some of network marketing's most successful black women. These stories encourage and inspire us to keep moving forward and never give up on the dream. Learning about the struggles and successes of other black women that have built large and lucrative direct sales and network marketing businesses keep us focused. A great example of this is the story of one of my favorite sisters in direct sales, Gloria Mayfield Banks!! The best part of hearing the story of a successful black woman in direct sales is it proves that we all had to start out humble. No one started out making the "bug bucks" in this business, all of these women attended the network marketing school of "Hard Knocks". The difference is simple, these women took those "hard knocks", learned from them and just kept on going. So, when you are feeling discouraged or feel like you will never be able to get your business off the ground, let alone profitable...think about the black women that are already successful. You have the same opportunity they did, you just have to remind yourself that this is a journey, respect the process. Never, ever, give up and learn everything you kind from those that are already successful!!  You WILL be sharing your story and inspiring someone else before you know it"-)
