Talking on the phone with Renee, a longtime girlfriend of mine from Chicago, is always a treat! We don't get to spend much time together anymore, our lives and the distance between us makes it very difficult these days. We have our usual conversation about the latest happenings in Chicago, who's doing what and with who and how the kids are doing. Over the past few years, we've added another hot topic to the list...what are we doing to prepare financially for the future. Naturally, I share with her my plans to continue building a large and lucrative network marketing business with Seriesse. Renee has expressed interest in joining my team for over a year now , and she always talks about her desire to build a business online. However, Renee never seems to move forward with either expressed desire. I made the decision long again to NEVER push or pester my friends, family or anyone for that matter into joining my business, I give them the information, address their questions and the rest is up to them. I do sincerely believe in educating someone about the business and how it can change their life, but again, I don't push the issue.
However, I decided to flat out ask Renee, "Why do you talk about signing up with Seriesse all the time, but never seem to follow through?" Renee paused and strongly replied in a very "South Side of Chicago" manner, "Girl, I'm too damn broke to build a network marketing business, I have NO MONEY to advertise online or anything!!" Renee went on to explain that she attempted to start a direct sales business a few years ago ( I never knew!) , she set up a website and everything, paid a ton a money buying leads and advertising on other websites. According to Renee, she did everything she could to get people to visit her website and buy her products, but nothing. Renee also expressed that she "Didn't know enough people to to share her products and business with", so she resorted to purchasing leads that never worked it and it cost her plenty! After a forty minute conversation all about the expense of building a business online, I realized I had a possible solution for Renee's problem.
It's called "Building on a Budget", an educational program designed to teach network marketers how to generate a lot of traffic to their websites and get their own leads for their business...fast and cheap!!! I was introduced to Building on a Budget from an online marketing expert named Mike Dilliard. Mike offers excellent MLM training tools and I highly recommend all of Mike Dilliard's programs, I live by his Magnetic Sponsoring concepts and it has made a huge difference in my business overall. I knew nothing about internet marketing or how to build a business online for little or no money until I found these programs...they work and are highly educational! These programs are perfect for African American women in network marketing, MLM and direct sales. The programs are all about driving more traffic to your websites, generating free leads to introduce to your opportunity or products and advertising online for little or no money. I've talked to many black women in our industry and these are some of their concerns.
Needless to say, I shared these programs with my friend Renee and I am proud to say she is all signed up with Seriesse now and she no longer fears the costs associated with online businesses or network marketing. The old saying "Information is Power" is so true!
It's ruthless. Today, succeeding in the "work at home" arena is harder then ever for a black woman with the painful advertising costs and "expensive" cut throat competition. Spending a small fortune to keep their businesses afloat, most black women are throwing in the towel before they even begin. But with the new “Building On A Budget” platform, large pocketbooks may no longer be needed to grow a lucrative home business. Now aspiring and success driven women who have little or no money to advertise, can learn the most potent ways to build their direct sales business or any home business using the latest online marketing strategies, in many cases without spending a dime.
