My network marketing career has been a roller coaster experience. It has taken me up and it has taken me down, but fortunately for me right now it’s taking me up again…
I first began in this industry in the 1990’s with a telecom company. I had a great time and made it to the first level of leadership and then the devil showed up in the form of my husband. So, I decided to leave the business to save the marriage. Well, we ended up getting a divorce shortly after, so I should have dumped the husband and saved the business. Oh well..you live and you learn.
In 2002, I found Wellness Company and fell in love with the industry again. Within 3 short years, and after a lay-off from Corporate America, I was able to climb to the top of the compensation plan. In the same year that I was laid off, I promote twice, the first promotion was to Director and the second one was to National Vice President. I was excited. I stayed full-time for almost 3 years and during that time I penned “Quantum Leap: How to Make a Quantum Leap in Your Network Marketing Business” and recorded “10 Insider Secrets to Network Marketing Success.” These two products officially launched my business Quantum Leap Productions LLC, which is designed to help people go to another level.
Things were going well, until the fall of 2007 when several things happened with the Wellness Company that left me disenchanted. I knew that it was time for me to leave. I prayed and asked God for guidance, he sent me a way to do what I needed to do and that was to walk away from the opportunity and the income, but maintain my own integrity. I was obedient to his message and I left. You see, after spending all those years working from home and suddenly I found myself in corporate again, but this time as a consultant. I realized that sometimes you have to step back in order to move forward.
A few short months later, I found out that Soul Purpose would soon launch and I found myself drawn to this company and its mission. After a brief pre-launch phase, Soul Purpose officially launched on March 18, 2008 with two product lines and 9 natural fragrances. Fast forward two and a half months later, and we have over 64 products with over 9 lines. We officially opened for business during the last two weeks of May. During that time, I was able to promote to Diamond Executive and earn a check of over $1200. In June, I sustained that title and earned a check of over $2000! I was the top money-earner for two months straight! I can only imagine what those checks will look like a year from now as we continue to grow.
On July 19th we hosted our first Soul Purpose Business School in Baltimore, MD. At that time I was presented with a unique “Cognac” diamond from Africa and two white sapphires, for reaching the position of Diamond Executive. That’s when I knew I was at the right place, at the right time and with the right group of people. Watch out for us because we’re going global. Timing is everything. I am so glad that I decided to follow my heart, because my roller coaster ride is on the upswing with Soul Purpose.
