A few nights ago I had the distinct pleasure of having a conversation with an I Love MLM Blackwoman sista.  I don’t know what lead her to call me but I’m so glad she did! We talked about our business, life in our respective cities, and our wonderful social network.

I feel the highlight of our conversation came when I was able to refer to her a potential business partner and she in turn referred someone to my website to book travel.  WOW!  After our conversation I was lead to write about our experience as this was truly relationship building/networking at its best.

I wonder what would happen if we all decided to be proactive and give each other a call to say hello or to simply give sisterly encouragement.  What would happen if we started with the friends on our profile page and chose a date and time to call each other?  What if a light bulb came on and we discovered that our best referrals are each other?  What would happen…think about it!

In my mind this would look like a complete EXPLOSION of our businesses!  Referrals automatically become a part or our warm market, which makes it easier to talk to them and service them, which eventually leads to long term customers and more referrals, which ultimately leads to BUSINESS PARTNERS!!  You get ALL this by simply reaching out to those on your profile page.  WOW!!

My challenge to you is simple… PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL SOMEONE AND BUILD A RELATIONSHIP!

The only rule, just like on Ilovemlmblackwoman.com, you are not allowed to sell your fellow MLM’ers on your business.  That is not good etiquette.  You will never know what is going on in someone’s life unless you take the initiative to be proactive.  Your words of encouragement, a prayer together, or a simple referral can make all the difference in the world!  It sure has in mine!

In the words of Tom Joyner, “I know we don’t do shout outs – but if we did” – I want to give a shout out to Golda Smith of Primerica, hailing from Atlanta – thank you for reaching out to me, which leads my spirit to reach out to others to do the same thing – you are FABULOUS!!

Sisterly,

De’Janiera
